In Porsgrunn, water has always played a key role, and as the gateway to the Telemark Canal, we see traces of history everywhere. Along the banks we see industry, the Porcelain Factory, new construction and cozy eateries, and on the horizon Herøya...
It's great to experience Porsgrunn from a completely new angle. A safe framework is also created for those who have never been in a kayak before - and the trip is arranged according to the group's skills and has reservations for wind, weather and water flow. 😍
We meet at the DuVerden museum and set off from the slipway right behind. A good introduction to the equipment is given and we spend time getting comfortable on the kayaks. Then we paddle a discovery trip along the waterway in Telemark.
Instruction will be given on the trip if needed and desired.
The instructor has all the paddling equipment for everyone. You need clothes that can withstand getting wet, preferably with wool to wear underneath, and a windproof jacket. Sandals, flip-flops or neoprene shoes on your feet are great. If needed, the instructor will provide dry suits, but you must still wear woolen clothes and socks underneath.
Bring at least one dry change for afterwards..
Caps or affordable sunglasses are recommended. Also bring a hat and mittens and maybe a warm jacket for afterwards if needed..
If you want a different time than the one set, please contact us. Groups guided by booking 😍
Price per person 900 kr
